Democratic Priorities
The Kendall County Democratic Party believes in the need for a well-functioning government that acts based on facts and evidence to preserve the life, health, and well-being of every person. The interdependence of every Texan on the actions of every other Texan challenges us to give of ourselves so that none of us fall. Together, we will overhaul the social contract and establish a new economic engine that allows all residents to thrive. (Preamble, Texas Democratic Party Platform)

County Chair Suanne Pyle
I am the new KCDP Chair. I have been Treasurer for KCDP for the last 3 ½ years and am excited about the new challenge of being Chair. During this time I have worked elections, blockwalked, made phone calls, been a precinct chair, organized the early voting tent in 2022 and 2024, was a delegate to the State Convention in El Paso in 2024 and many other activities. I moved from Port Aransas to Boerne in 2022. I was precinct chair in Port Aransas and started the Port Aransas Democrats Club. I was also active with the Nueces County Democrats. I worked on the campaign of Wendy Davis in 2014 and Beto’s campaign in 2018 and 2020. I have been a lifelong Democrat, casting my first vote in 1976 for Jimmy Carter.
I am a retired Middle School Social Studies teacher and Varsity Swim Coach. My husband and I also had a retail store in Port Aransas for thirty years selling kites. I also have a background in Accounting and worked in that field for eight years.
When I am not working on Democrat issues I love to spend time outside. I am an avid birdwatcher and appreciator of nature. I am a member of the Hill Country Texas Master Naturalists and the San Antonio Area iNaturalist City Nature Challenge. I also love to read and sit on the couch with my dog and cat and watch the San Antonio Spurs basketball games.
This is a pivotal year in politics and we need to bring our A game. I am relying on the great team of volunteers we have here in Kendall County as we work to educate the Democrats in Kendall County and get them all to the polls!
